About this artwork
The fortified Valère Basilica crowns its hill above Sion, a Romanesque and Gothic church inside a walled hilltop borough, with a square belfry and the old canon houses. The ruined Tourbillon castle occupies the opposite hill. Dry late-September grass and the valley town sit below. The Open-Meteo model is fully overcast and warm, and no scaffolding is added.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
